Additives Import-Export & Overseas Warehouse FAQ
This section addresses frequently asked questions on import-export customs clearance, international logistics, overseas warehouse services and logistics after-sales support for our amino acid, vitamin and botanical extract food additives, providing overseas customers with clear and professional logistics guidance.
Import-Export Customs Clearance
All our food additives can be declared through formal general trade, in compliance with the customs clearance standards of countries worldwide. We provide a full set of customs documents, including commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, customs declaration form, quality inspection report, food-grade qualification certificate, health certificate, non-GMO statement and botanical extract traceability report. These documents effectively prevent clearance delays and cargo detention, and satisfy customs review requirements across all regions.
Our core products — amino acids, vitamins and conventional botanical extracts — are ordinary food additives, neither dangerous goods nor restricted categories. They are subject only to the food import registration and inspection standards of the destination country. Standard clearance times are: Southeast Asia 1-3 business days, Europe and the Americas 3-7 business days, the Middle East and Africa 7-15 business days. We are familiar with the food import regulations of various countries and can assist customers in advance with verifying market access standards and preparing complete documentation, substantially reducing clearance risk.
We accommodate all major trade terms, including FOB, CIF, CFR, DDP and DDU. Under FOB and CIF terms, destination-country tariffs, VAT and customs clearance charges are borne by the buyer. Under DDP delivered-duty-paid terms, all taxes, clearance and logistics costs are borne by us, with zero additional cost to the customer. Taxes are calculated based on the product HS code, the latest tax rates of the destination country and the declared value of the goods. A precise cost breakdown can be provided before ordering, with transparent pricing and no hidden charges.
We support market access certification and compliance registration for all major global markets. Our products can be supplied with international qualification documents including FDA, EU REACH, HALAL, KOSHER, ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000. We can also assist customers in completing enterprise registration and product registration in Europe, the Americas, Australia and other regions, ensuring smooth customs clearance and market entry.
International Logistics & Transport
Taking into account the ambient-temperature, moisture-proof and light-protected storage and transport characteristics of food additives, we offer a full-channel international logistics solution. Samples and urgent orders can be shipped via DHL, FedEx or UPS international express (3-7 days delivery). Small and medium batch orders can use dedicated air freight lines (7-10 days). Large batch orders are best shipped by full container load (FCL) or less than container load (LCL) sea freight for better cost efficiency. Customers in Central Europe and Central Asia may choose dedicated rail freight lines, balancing transit time and cost. All channels are compliant, verifiable and fully traceable.
They will not be classified as sensitive cargo. All our products are legitimate food-grade raw materials with complete food-property documentation, distinct from industrial powders, and can be shipped as general cargo without sensitive-cargo surcharges. All powder and granule products use moisture-proof sealed, pressure-resistant and leak-proof packaging, and are fully insured against logistics risks throughout transit. In the event of damage, loss or delay, full compensation can be claimed, ensuring transport safety.
After stock preparation is complete, the standard transit times to major markets are as follows: Southeast Asia 3-5 days by express and 7-15 days by sea; Europe and the Americas 7-12 days by air and 25-35 days by sea; the Middle East 10-15 days by air and 20-30 days by sea; Africa and South America 15-25 days. These transit times are for reference only; public holidays and customs inspections may cause slight extensions. We will follow up throughout the process and keep the customer updated on logistics progress.
We conduct multiple quality inspections and reinforced packaging before shipment to strictly control outbound quality. If product damage, moisture ingress or shortage occurs in transit, upon the customer providing supporting evidence such as the shipping label and photos of the damage, we will verify promptly and provide free replacement, stock replenishment or full compensation. The customer bears no loss.
Overseas Warehouse Services
We have established core compliant overseas warehouses worldwide, covering Los Angeles (USA), Hamburg (Germany), Bangkok (Thailand), Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Dubai and other locations. The warehouses meet food additive storage standards, with constant temperature, moisture-proofing, light protection and ventilation. They offer one-stop services including in-stock warehousing, bulk stockpiling, local single-piece dropshipping, returns and exchanges processing, and inventory management on behalf of the customer, efficiently meeting the supply needs of overseas customers.
The core advantages of overseas warehousing are fast delivery, low cost and zero clearance waiting time. Goods are imported and stockpiled in advance, so local orders can be dispatched and signed for within 1-3 days, avoiding the long international logistics cycles and clearance uncertainty. Bulk stockpiling substantially reduces per-unit logistics costs. This suits overseas traders, food processing plants and distributors with long-term cooperation, stable inventory demand and a requirement for efficient supply.
Overseas warehouse charges are transparent with no hidden costs. Fees cover only first-leg logistics, storage, local delivery and handling. Long-term cooperating customers can enjoy 3-6 months of free storage. Short-term stockpiling is charged by number of days and volume, with a complete cost breakdown provided before ordering. Inventory is fully visible through the system, allowing customers to check stock levels and inbound-outbound records in real time, with clear and verifiable accounts.
We support flexible cross-site inventory transfer to meet multi-region supply needs. Non-defective slow-moving inventory can be returned or exchanged in compliance and repackaged for resale. For returns and exchanges due to product quality issues, we bear the full logistics and handling costs. We also support on-demand replenishment and bulk clearance by the customer, making inventory management flexible and efficient.
All overseas warehouses strictly apply food raw material storage standards, with constant temperature and humidity, light protection and ventilation, effectively preventing oxidation, moisture ingress, caking and deterioration of amino acids, vitamins and botanical extracts. Warehouses conduct regular stocktaking and sampling inspections and check product shelf lives. Customers are notified in advance of near-expiry goods, which are dispatched with priority, ensuring stable and compliant quality of all outbound products.
Customized Logistics & After-Sales Support
We provide one-to-one dedicated logistics customization. Solutions are tailored to the customer’s order volume, transit time requirements and trade model: express service for sample and urgent orders, sea freight plus overseas warehouse stockpiling for large batch orders, and dropshipping for distribution customers. We can also provide integrated clearance and logistics solutions tailored to the market access requirements of specific countries.
We support goods inspection and loading supervision. For domestic shipments, we accept on-site inspection and loading supervision by the customer or a third-party agency to verify product specifications, quantities and packaging. At overseas warehouses, on-site inspection of the storage environment and inventory status can be booked by appointment, with full transparency and traceability throughout.
The logistics of all orders can be tracked in real time throughout the process. A tracking number and query link are provided immediately after dispatch, allowing the customer to check transport, customs clearance and delivery progress at any time. A dedicated specialist follows up on the order throughout, proactively sharing information at key milestones and responding quickly to any exceptions, ensuring smooth receipt of the goods.
